What have CityDays adventurers been up to?
Fab day out! Will do again, in another city. Not as easy as you think, which is a good thing.
We had a great time on Race Across the World. We were at team of 3 adults and 2 teenagers and there was something for everyone- solving puzzles, navigating, looking for landmarks. We know London well but this took us down routes we would normally not go down and look for clues on buildings we wouldn't have noticed. The Race is a good pace and length and good for all ages. Ultimately this is a treasure hunt with a link to the show.
A lot of fun, new snippets of history learnt, and just enough historical background to put the snippets into a wider context. Definitely would recommend to friends and family members. Just one comment - the 15th clue was almost out ofbounds due to works going on in the park, and the foliage was so overgrown that in a week or two the answer might well be illegible due to being hidden! Hope regular checks are made as to feasibility of clues in a changing urban landscape…!
A really enjoyable tour, very engaging.
What a fabulous experience, finding hidden gems walking the streets of London speaking out loud and getting strange looks as we understand what the clues mean. It was soo much fun. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon or evening even! I cannot recommend this enough. It needs to be booked!
Good way to explore the city, taking in lots of landmarks. Really enjoyed the money element to start, felt like a true race across the world experience. Stops along the way were also very nice.
